Technical Specs¶
The Seed2 DFM Pedal Development Kit provides everything you need to design and prototype your next Daisy-based effects pedal on a single, bespoke board. Create powerful DSP effects, from massive reverbs, delay networks, and complex loopers to spectral processors and granular synthesis, the likes which have yet to grace the pedal world.
With industry standard components and circuitry onboard, integrating Daisy into the production line has never been easier. Industry leading relays bring True Bypass and an ultra low noise floor to the platform, letting you hear the finest details from your DSP. On top of stereo IO and a host of electromechanical parameters, the Dev Kit also includes DIN MIDI IO, and expression TRS input, microSD socket, and a USB-C port. Take your DSP effect pedals to the next level, with Daisy.

The Pedal Dev Kit is open-source hardware, and carries essential circuitry to employ Daisy for effects pedal applications. Use the BOM, schematics, and board files to kickstart your own pedal designs.
The Seed2 DFM Pedal Dev Kit is licensed under MIT as permissive open-source hardware. This means that:
- designers have the freedom to use, study, modify, share and distribute hardware designs and products based on those designs.
- designers may use any and all provided designs in close-sourced, commercial products.
Pinout¶
*āDā for Digital GPIO or āAā for Analog I/O, depending on use case.
